CROWN CASE ( 6 Teeth)

Crowns are "caps" that are put over over a tooth (or teeth) for cosmetic purposes to enhance ones smile or to restore a damaged tooth to improve its' stuctural integretity by reshaping the tooth or teeth.

This case was done predominately done for cosmetic purposes.The patient wasn't happy with their appearance and wanted a great smile; her words. She was thrilled with the results.

SHADE SELECTION: For both crowns and bridges Dr. Chiasson selects a shade for the tooth / teeth that is closest in colour to the patients natural teeth. 

Patients frequently request that the teeth be whiter than their natural teeth, patrticularly when it comes to front teeth.  In some cases a patient will decide to whiten their teeth prior to having the crowns done so that the shade selection would be similiar to what her teeth would look like after having the whitening done. As was the case for our first patient.

DENTAL BRIDGE (2 Missing)

A dental bridge is an applance that is 

used to replace missing teeth with an artifical tooth / teeth that is anchored to neighbouring teeth that does not move when eating or smiling and provides function and durability. A bridge is very natural looking and can be made to improve the appearnace of the teeth.

COSMETIC DENTISTRY 

This patient wasn't happy with the way his teeth looked; he wanted to be able to comfortably smile. He had his six front teeth crown. He was extremely happy with the results.
